Shadow Shot Sunday # 167

This morning I just couldn't sleep so I was up and in my favorite place as the morning sun began beaming in through the window. Of course when I can't sleep my faithful Little Lancelot, Raphael my brown tiger cat   accompanies me wherever I land but this particular morning it was even too early for him. I had just gotten my first cup of coffee and gone back into my studio to find the following photo opportunity too great to pass up! Since I have not participated in Shadow Shot Sunday for some weeks now due to computer issues I felt doubly inspired since those troubles are now far behind me... hope you all enjoy, I know I did :D

In addition to Harriet, I have 3 cats and love cats. This is the cutest pic I've ever seen! I agree with Joan...you need to do this up in a special frame!
I feel like taking a catnap right now!

COMPADRES

Shadows above me,
Shadows below;
Some shadows swift and
Some shadows slow;
All of these shadows,
It’s plain to see,
Are my compadres—
Sweet company!

OMGosh!!! What an incredible photo of Mr. Raphael!!!! I don't even look that angelic when I'm sleeping and I thought I looked pretty good all a-snooze. Ah, were Mr. R. not my furriend, I would be devastated. Thankfully, I can be simply in admiration of the photographer and subject ;) I hope mew have a good week!

Purrs!

Lovely shadow shot! It's only when things go wrong with our comoputers that we realise how much we use them!!
Adorable kitten.
I like your photo very much.

So cute..Love your image so much.
Beth ! I am too happy to have another cat-fan show us a beautiful shot of their precious nature .. the love of a catnap in sun or shadow : )
My girls strike some very engaging poses too when they are in such a contented state : )
Very special indeed !

Oh, I love this shot, Beth! What's sweeter than a kitty sleeping in a patch of sunlight??

I'm so pleased you stopped by to see my little studio, and I think you're right - we are definitely kindred spirits! Looking into your creative space was much like looking into my own...clearly, we're going to be great friends...:)

I just noticed you're a member of PU,too. so we'll run into each other often. I have been sporadic about posting lately, as I've had my own technical problems. I ended up getting a new computer and am busy transferring files and learning a new operating system...not my favourite task...I just want the darn thing to work so I can post pretty pictures...LOL.

I'm so very pleased to meet you, Beth, and we'll talk again soon!

I love kitties and this shadow shot of yours is adorable. I have 2 but feed 4 more that are feral. I had commented on your studio but am now following you.

Ahh Beth, this is the thing I miss the most about not having a 'normal' life, is being owned by cats. That is a beautiful photo!

By the way Beth, I am going to find out about posting Lavender out of Europe and if it is in order, I will contact you!
